California retailer Pacsun launched this weekend its third Formula 1 collection, alongside an activation at its Aventura, Florida store location.
Coinciding with the first U.S.-based race of the season in Miami, Pacsun and Formula 1 expanded their merchandise line with 12 brand-new styles, featuring tees and shorts, hoodies, jerseys, crewneck sweatshirts, and a zip-up shirt.
The collection was characterized by pops of green and ombre patterns on select pieces.
To celebrate the collection launch and the race, Pacsun hosted an in-store event in Miami where customers and fans got a first look at the collection, enjoyed entertainment, local food and drink vendors, and took home special giveaways.
Several influencers and the Miami Formula 1 communities attended the event, alongside Pacsun leadership and Oli Boden, head of licensing & gaming, from Formula 1.
“Formula 1 is taking the world by storm, and at Pacsun, we are thrilled to bring our customers along for the ride of the world championship through exclusive apparel and content,” said Richard Cox, vice president of men’s merchandising.
“Our brand has always been committed to resonating with our audience by embracing their culture. This partnership allows us to further merge the worlds of fashion, sports, and entertainment and bring our community more styles to support the coveted race.”
In March, Pacsun launched a co-branded 37-piece collection, which followed a 2022 soft launch, which debuted at ComplexCon 2022.
Beyond racing, earlier this month, Pacsun also announced an official partnership with Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) as a Community Outreach Associate Partner for its 2023 regular season.
